Recently I was out with my Konica Auto S2 and someone asked me why was I using such an old camera when they knew I owned far more modern camera's. My response was that apart from being really easy to use the lenses were great and offered different looks. anyway to cut a long story short I decided to test my AutoS2 ,Yashica GTN, and a Canon SLR with 50 1.4 lens. the attached pic shows the result, all shot on APX100 500@f8 the films were processed together in the same tank. I found the result interesting in that they don't differ as much as I thought they might.

I see perceptible differences between Konica and the other two. The Canon and Yashica look very similar- which is also quite interesting!
I tend to prefer the Konica contrast in the photo. Looking at the pointing on the block work more detail seems apparent. The other two while o.k have more light and would suggest requiring a stop or half stop down. .
I have all 3 lenses on respective cameras as well. Canon FD mount.
Says a lot about the RF camera lenses once again.
cheers

This is difficult to tell if there are differences. I also own all three, so I am interested in this test. It appears in order of highest to lowest contrast it is Canon, Konica, Yashica. I am super impressed with my S2 lens. I only wish the camera was a bit smaller!
