i was gonna say. I wonder if the new hood can be adapted for the old. It seems to be a lot smaller.

that's one pretty lens, for sure.
the aperture rings seem to be lined up, is the smaller size mostly from the difference in hoods?
and the 3.5 is still so much smaller, what a great little lens.

i have to admit that i'm glad that the 28 is not a favourite focal length or i would be lusting away for this new one.
