CV 35/40 MC vs. CV 35/40 SC?

Has anyone actually compared the CV Multi coated lenses vs. the Single coated lenses real world? Can you tell the difference? Which is better for color? Which is better for B+W? Etc.

Try to look at raid's test of 35mm and 40mm lenses - it includes 40mm SC and MC version.

I did test a variety of 40 Noktons.

The only thing I can tell is that, consistently, the SC Noktons were a teeny bit sharper and better collimated than the MC versions. I feel QA on the SC versions is better.

So the practical advice is to buy both and keep the better one.

Perfect line-up of RF at infinity on both my M3s (that also work with several fast Leica lenses).

And sharper.
