I have an M2 that I have been using for about 8 months now.
In the last couple of weeks the framelines are disappearing on me. The 35-50-90 lines still show up but are missing on the left hand side - or at least are only faintly visible now. On the right hand side they are still brightly visible.
I have already cleaned the windows on the front of the camera.
My focus patch is still fully operational. It is still very bright.
The camera was fully CLA'd only 4 months ago.
My fear is that some sort of fungus or mold has entered the camera mucking things up.
Any ideas or experience in this matter?

Kemal, what do you see in the viewfinder when you toggle the framelines preview lever on the front of the camera?
I think the problem can be solved by a knowledgeable technician with a simple adjustment.
edit: I just noticed that your camera was cla'ed recently. What kind of warranty is offered by your serviceman?

Don't worry about fungus. Just needs adjustment.

Is this adjustment a do-it-yourself job or something bigger? Does a serviceman need to do it?
When I toggle the lever the effect is consistent.

I would guess that this adjustment is beyond the scope of knowledge and ability of the average person.

...and back again
...and back again
I recently went on a trip and the M2 got a fair bit of usage. I looked through the viewfinder again and the framelines are back again! They are perfect - at the moment. Will they go back again? Most likely I guess. I suppose the camera is going to have to make a trip to the repairman again.
