thanks Denis,
we'll discuss that in our next meeting
conclusion:
the camera works, hurray
wide open at f1,7 and f2 the lens draws very soft
up to f5,6 it's a superbe lense,
sharpness on the wright point and good contrasts
be carefull when you shot against light,
there'll be some flare all over the photo
and of course the metering will not be correct,
there you may change the iso speed
it's realy that easy to work with this camera!
the photos above are all shot on fomapan 100
developed with foma R09 at 20C° with 7 min.
negativ scan with epson V500
we'll discuss that in our next meeting

Very nice shots. It's a very nice camera if you know its weak points, like martin said-->open lens and shooting against light.
best regards

nr1 is my favorit too,
because it's so clear and sharp.
Remember this is 35 years old camera.
I have to find out who this young student is and give him a print.

Martin, nicely done images! I see the V500 is doing well by you! By the way, what's with all the pumpkins? Don't tell me you're celebrating Halloween in Germany!

unfortunately "modern" people imported Halloween to Germany,
when I was young we didn't know that.
But of course we have something similar,
it's named "Kirchweih" or in local slang "Kilwi".
The city where I live is about 700 - 1000 m/over see level,
(what's the correct english word for that?)
and so the pumpkins don't grow here.
Some people set them at their entrances and other one cook a good soupe with them.
I take photos of them, in black and white, mostly
and hope my female abuttor will support me with a taste od this soupe
And yes, the V500 is a good deal, realy.

Thanks for sharing, Martin I like the first one the best, but they all look nice. I use a GSN that I bought off of a fellow rfd'r about two or three years ago, and have used a lot since.

1 and 8 do it for me. Otherwise, all are technically good. I love my Electro 35 GSN. Sometimes it could give a little more exposure in very low light situations, but otherwise it's good. Great little camera for little money!

Martin,
I have two Electro35 GSN cameras and haven't finished shooting a complete roll of film in either one. As your photos demonstrate, these are very capable cameras. By the way the correct word is "sea". Your english is excellent.

I see some vignetting. Natural or too tight lenshood?

no lenshood, but maybe on the indoor shots with aperture wide open?
