i shot my first wedding for a family member last week and here's a few shots. this camera never ceases to amaze me.

I think you can give yourself some credit as well, when it comes to situations like weddings. A photographer's intuition counts for a lot in situations like these and you obviously know when to push the button. Being a family affair, it's great to be comfortable with the people there and feel like you "fit in" a little more.
Regardless, these shots capture a lot more than the scene. The second shot has a classic look about it, and the flare adds to that. Hope this isn't your last wedding.
