Thank you all! I was just feeling guilty for having that many but suddenly I feel like I'm only getting started.

Actually I have basically given my Canon SLR kit to a friend and am thinking seriously of selling the Rolleiflex - I love it but just never seem to use it. Everything else sees pretty constant use and the MP, of course, is never beyond arms' reach.

It's interesting to note from my own perspective that since I started this thread I've reduced my camera count by about twenty or more. I was in the thirty to fifty bracket and nearer fifty ... currently I'm down to around twenty five cameras. Part of it has been finacial but an interesting side effect has been that I'm taking a lot more photographs without the distraction of numbers.

That said twent five is still a lot of cameras! :p

Working cameras: 7, but I am trying to sell one, and will probably sell another in the new year.

Three of the camera systems I own were gifts: a Canon Elan II, which I am trying to sell, was a graduation gift from my parents. A Contax 167 MT was a gift from my brother and most recently, my Dad gave me his old Pen ft that he has not used in ages. I am excited about that camera, because he had the 20mm lens for it.

Add two more none working camera to the list. Those are my rangefinders :-(

The two cameras that tempt me the most are the Leica Cl new panasonic LX3

since the last time (04-03-2008) my collection increased with around 20 new cameras (some of them in non working condition).
now i have more than 170.
