Looking at b1bmsgt's leater covered Electro: I never understood why people prefer leather instead of vulcanite. Any thoughts?

What hides under the blue tape? Rivets?
Nice idea with the O-Ring, now I have a new use for them. Used them only as adapter rings for batteries until now.

Hi Eugen, sorry for the late reply. Haven't been keeping track of the Yashica forum lately.

It appears that there is nothing underneath the blue thread. Its just the leather strap, and the blue thread which is apparently waxed, then strung together by Gordy. I have no idea how he does that though.

However through about one month of usage, the GSN has always hung safely around the wrist strap without ever falling off once. I like to leave it hanging on the strap itself without me gripping the GSN.

I own both the tele lens and the wide angle lens for the GX. Just got lucky at an auction... But are they really that rare?

Maybe not as rare as the MG1 set.
Last set i saw on the evilbay, that were advertised as such,
went for over £100.00. That was when you got nearly 2 $ for your Pound note.
I have seen a couple since then.

Nobody interested?

I really would like a nice Black GX.

Its about the only electro i have not got!
