Is there a camera you like so much that you have more than one of the same model?

Two Nikon FE2's, two Olympus XA's. Both XA's have bit the dust, but I think I can get a good one by combining parts from each.

FE2's were bought 20 years apart. First camera is my sentimental favorite, bought went the camera came out, the second works fine, but was bought as a backup.

Well lets see.....

3 Leica Barnacks
2 M Leicas
2 Nikon S3's
2 Zeiss Contaxs
2 Yashica GSN's
3 Nikon SLR's (Fm3a, Nikkormat, N6006)

I didn't realize I actually had so many dups.

Scary.

Only two Nikon F2, which get used regularly.
Three Super Ikonta B' s
Two Super Ikonta C' s
Two Kodak Retina IIa' s

I have 2 OM1n's. One black bought new in 1987 and one chrome bought as new a year later. They dont see much use these days, but I have collected a good range of Zuicko lenses and 2 winders. I would not part with them...

In my case, price determines a 'collection' I have seven Yashica Electro 35 cameras of various types. I have a few Pentax Spotmatics. A bunch of Kodak Brownine Box Cameras. I think five Kodak Brownie Hawkeye Flash bakelite cameras.

I rescue cameras from antique stores.

Meanwhile I -wish- I could supplement my Hasselblad collection with an SWC, but the deal of the year has not presented itself yet.

Fun thread. I have been "de-duping" lately but I still have some pairs:

- Two Black Contax G2s
- Two Contax N1s
- Two Nikkormats (my first camera is one of them)
- Two Nikon Fs (from my Dad)

Recently broken up pairs, now singles, include:

- Two Contax N Digitals
- Two Leica M7s (kept .85, .72 went to a new home)
- Two Leica M5s

I have four (4) XA's, one with metric scale and all work; two (2) XA-4's, both working and two (2) XA-2's, both working. I have flash units for each. Overall, these are my most used film cameras.

I would love to have a second Mamiya 7II, one loaded with 120 film and the other with my NPC polaroid back. I could live with lens changes between them...

multiples i have are:

2 m3s
2 m6 ttls
2 tdc stereo vivids
12(yes, twelve!) stereo realists(at least one of every variation of the realist ever made)
2 revere 33 stereo
2 kindar stereo
2 nimslo stereo
and about 30 stereo viewers

Leica M bodies. They're my drug of choice. I have only four... and sometimes wish for another, but I think four is more than enough.

Time to use them again! :)

Does this apply to Autistic Aqusitions ?
I tend to buy lots of THE SAME , if I can afford it , so several Kiev 4s / 3s / 2 s / 4as .
Twin Leica IIIc and Leica II . Twin black SRT and twin Chrome SRT ...
Twin Zenit 1 and twin Zenit S ... too many Leica II copies and too many Fed 2s .
Do I use them all ? No but it's like familiar in chaos ... that's before Dinky Buses , Sindy Dolls etc etc . Anne Onymous

Well, I had two Argus C3's at one time - both are gone. I had two Mamiya TLR bodies - not identical but close enough - one remains. I have a couple of Bronica ETRS bodies, but one is set up with AE prism and grip, while the other just has the WLF. I have a couple of Nikon RFs, but one is an S and the other an S2. I have two Leica Barnacks, but one is being modified to at least look very different from the other. Seems like I have an aversion to out-and-out duplication.

I work best with multiple bodies loaded with the same emulsion.

I have three Nikon F2s, down from four. Only one MD2 now instead of the three I used to have.

I used to have three F3s with MD4s (only one now), and before the F2s two Fs with F36s.

I'd like two more M6 Classics, both custom - a .58 and a .85. I'd dedicate one each to a lens - the .58 with a 24 or 28, my current .72 with a 35 and a .85 with a 75.

I have two CLEs—I really like the camera. I bought one and got a good deal on another with the 'cron 40. Irresistible.
