Spent saturday walking 11km in shanghai, with two RF: M3 with Canon 50 1.8, and M6 with 50mm Lux ASPH. Shot 2 rolls of ERA100 with the M3, and half a roll of Provia RDPIII.
Typical routine is to go somewhere I have never been to and the rule is no public transport. Going by foot is always a good way to soak in a large city. Boredom is kept away by 5 hours of Melvyn Bragg's In Our Time podcast, learning everything from Quantum Physics to Leo Tolstoy in addition to doing street photography. No better way to spend the weekend.

This sounds like awesome indeed. My weekend will not be spent at such an interesting city such as Shanghai.

High School Jazz Band will be performing at their first Comp of the year...Our daughter plays Tenor Sax...I will be going but not sure if I will shoot it or what to take if I do...
Later, maybe tomorrow, more fun with the 4x5...I'm testing a Kodak Ektar lens... hopefully it will give me the look I'm looking for...I want a lens that will mimic the look of my Yashica Mat 124's Yashinon...

My wife's nephew is getting married today so I'll be wandering about quietly with my M6 trying to be inconspicious. The reception is in a winery in Mclaren Vale so there'll be plenty of photo opportunities there. A perfect day weather wise too.

Today was my getting day for getting used to the M-converted Zeiss G1/G2 lenses. I took one roll of Reala 100 of my kids at the [edge of] beach with the Zeiss Planar 45mm 2.0on the M3 while I took a few shots with the Zeiss 28mm 2.8. Then, I was in the historic district of Pensacola around 3pm, and sure enough, there was a wedding at the Old Christ Church. Two [separate events] brides were being photographed in the square by several professional photographers, so I took photos of the photographers and the bride and groom with the remaining frames on the roll with the Biogon 28mm 2.8.

Yesterday I went to a professional photography convention and trade show. Met Jay Stock, the famous photographer, and took some lovely close pictures of his incredible face, with my Canon F1.2 and M5. Can't wait to see them. Also took some 19mm Canon shots with my new M4-2, before it goes off to DAG, for some tweaking.
Today I took a roll of senior pictures of my older son, outside in our woods, with my Hasselblad 500CM, with flash and without, on Ilford Pan F. Used the 100mm F3.5, 150mm f4, and the 250mm f5.6. This is for his senior yearbook, and is due next week.
Will make a big film run, later today.

Just came back from the monthly European Car Show at a local posh shopping center. Took my Wetzlar M6 with v4 35 Summicron and my (underrated) C/V R2S with vintage 1960-ish Nikon RF 50mm f1.4 lens. Used Fujichrome 100 in the M6 and HP5 in the R2S. Lots of cool machinery today. Drove over in my friend's 1972 Citroen DS 21. I was the only film user there...lucky me!

I used yesterday a Rolleiflex TLR for some photos.
Someone called out to me "is this a Rollei?" He then took photos of my family with the Rollei.
Today, I will continue with the same camera. It needs to be used.
What are your weekend plans? Is photography a part of them?

With three shows of my photography this year, photography is a part of this weekend: I'll be at the light table sorting and reviewing images for the first show (architecture) in April. Looks to be a gray weekend so I'll get out with a camera a bit, too (I'll take my chrome MP with 50 Summicron and Tri-X film).

Just got back to Shanghai at 5pm today from Seoul. Nothing stops me from shooting it seems. Packed 2 Leica M cameras, one with Nokton 35mm f1.2 and the other with a 50mm Summilux ASPH and both loaded with Neopan 1600 - and went shooting from 8pm to 10pm
It was at a night market I discovered last week near my place and at that time I had Provia RDPIII and a slow f2.8 Summaron with me, so had to pass. Fingers crossed. My guess-meter is quite off course for nighttime...

It is a gorgeous weekend in the making here in Pensacola, Florida/ It is definitely a "spring day", with strong sunshine and blue skies. It tells me that tomorrow and Sunday some of my lenses will be used with film.
I will use a Canon 50mm/1.5 and also the Zeiss Tenax II with its 40mm 2.0 Sonnar. A 36-exposure roll gives me 50 exposures in the Tenax II.

The weather has been stormy and rainy for the past two days. It is clearing up as I am typing this posting. There is hope for chances to take photos this weekend. I will use a Minolta 35mm/2.8 and maybe also the Rolleiflex 3.5F.

The sun is rising right now. Snow is expected. Extremely warm...only -5ºC! Spring has come! I'm going for a helicopter ride and I'm bringing my M4-2. After that, I'm going to spend most of the day walking along the alleys of my home town. I always see something new! Can't wait!

Dan,
I have had many times brief stops in Scottsdale. Isn't it on the way [and close to] to Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park?

It's a wonderful day here in Pensacola. I am still enjoying the freedom to decide what to do today. Tomorrow will be packed with work at home.

I haven't done much shooting because of an injury at work with my foot. I did recieve in the mail other day a Canon FD lens, 28/2.8. I am in the process of buying Canon FD lenses for my AE-1program. My wife is driving me out to check it out today. MOF I gotta leave in a few.
