If this is not the correct forum for this question, I apologize to members and moderators.
Here's my situation. I've had a MP chrome for a couple of years and have not used it. I longed to get back to film so got the body and a coupe of lenses. I just did not use them as intended. It has, in truth, had only 4 or 5 rolls of film run through it. It's mint.
I need to know how much to ask for it in sale. I put in on ebay and kept lowering it to around 2,480 and it would not sell.
I'd like to sell it, but not take a bath. What is a fair price to ask?
Thanks very much.

It depends on what lenses you are selling with it...

... likes film again.
Prices have come down recently ... a lot depends on how you design your advertisement and what is included. It might also be a good idea to try selling via some of the well-known forums.
Good luck with your sale !

Maybe try looking at the prices on KEH's web site. Use those as your guide.

Or maybe you call KEH and see how much they will offer you.

Personally, with most things I just put them on ebay at the lowest possible starting price. That way, you save listing fees and attract interest, and in the end enough people will bid against each other that you get a fair price without having to guess what people will pay.
High starting prices or buy it nows tend to put people off as well - especially given that if someone is buying from ebay they will not be willing to pay the sae price as from a shop which would offer them a guarantee and less chance of being ripped off, all the more so with an expensive camera.
The only situation it's worth having a high starting price is if you are selling something that very few people will want, but the people who do want it will pay a reasonable price for it - in that case if you start at 99p you won't get enough people bidding each other up.
But a MP, lots of people will bid for that. The ony other thing I would suggest is that it isn't a good idea to put something expensive up on ebay if you don't have much feedback - it will sell, but as people will be wary of fraudsters, they will bid accordingly and you will receive less money.

Look up the new price today, and offer it for 60% of that price.
Here on RFF it should find a buyer.
