Australia/New Zealand Australian's - Free Film Friday

Hi Fergus - I'd LOVE any 120 C41. I am in Brisbane, and happy to pay postage and any other costs. Will PM my address. Many thanks.

You sure know how to make friends fergus! hehe :D
I'd love any sort of Neopan at all 35mm or 120.
Plus any sort of 120 film you have, particulary in colour. I have a Mamiya RB67 that has never seen colour film before! Would really love to give some a go.
also interested in any expired film you may have kicking around.
I'm situated in Sydney (you already have my address from the freestyle order), so may be able to arrange pickup, but more than willing to pay postage.
Cheers!

Raid, Naruto... sorry I'm going to keep this limited to those here in Oz.

To all.. re postage, I um, well, have a government job and the internal controls are not well designed... so it might not technically be me who pays for the postage (ahem) so let's just say you're finally getting something tangible from your tax dollars... :)

We have lots of hands up for film, yay! Everyone will get something, it's a lucky-dip.

I am really getting into this minimalisation thing... gave away my lawn mower this morning. Will probably sell my pianola rolls (anyone need a few hundred of them?). Have a couple of digital cameras (lx1, ex600) that will go in the classifieds soon. And have you ever gone through your wardrobe, found your fav' shirt from a few years back, and realised in horror "I used to wear THAT in public"? :) The charity clothing bins are about to have a good weekend in my area.

Well I have to say, the response was a lot more than I expected! And a little troubling... 1/2 a day after starting the free-for-all, we're already at 1-roll-per-person in some categories (eg b&w 35mm).

So... with no further ado I'm going to close it off here and divvy the film up to those who are in already.

If you have not yet sent me a pm with your postal address, please do so now... I'll get things in the post Monday or Tuesday.

Hi fergus,

I was joking with you. It is a nice gesture from you to help out your Aussie borthers and sisters. Your thread surely made them show up here.

Hi Fergus,

Ahh haa too bad my friend, I'm too late now, otherwise I would have raised my hand for any 35mm Color Negative you might have left, and I'm in Melbourne ;-)

Anyway, thanks for giving them free to the Aussie Brothers and Sisters ;-)

Hello AJW,

B&W is limited but I have some with your name on it... could you please PM me your postal address?

Cheers...
Fergus.

what an offer! i've been looking for something new, so will put my hand up for any 35mm B&W film that is available - random and unexpected is good.

do let me know how to pay you back for postage.

cheers.

Shane,

It seem's you're the only one in the thread missing out!

Zap me a PM with your address, I'll have something in the fridge (the thread only cleared off one small shelf...)

Cheers...
Fergus.

Well all orders pack, most ready to go (delays only due to addresses).

The combined order for the Canberra duo will have to go Wednesday, can't carry everything at once and theirs is a larger box due to the roll and loader.

It really was a lucky-dip, I have tried to accomodate everyone's requests as best I could. Where there was limited film and multiple people, literally a blind grab solved it. The more specific/limited your desired film(s), the smaller the parcel, solely due to the selection I had on offer. Everyone is getting at least a few rolls to play with, enjoy!

It occured to me that this thread revealed several apparent truths;

- that there is a small core of Aussies who check RFF frequently/daily, including some names I have not noticed in my time spent lurking here

- that people are quite specific about what they want (even when it's free), with B&W leading in the requests/choices

- that all participants now have free film just in time for Keith's single camera/lens challenge!!!

Cheers...
Fergus.
