Yashica CC with broken Shutter?

Dear Yashica- Specialists,



I could get perhaps a Yashica Electro CC, but the Seller says, that the Shutter doesn’t work correctly. It is only functional at about 1/30, other Speeds don’t work. He writes that it could be a broken Shutter or a Problem of the Shuttercontrol. Any Ideas? Is it able to fix?

Well...I can't help with non-mechanical cameras. Though it seems that camera is stuck at flash mode. Is flash mode activated in CC by attaching flash cord? Could it be so that PC socket is bent, locking circuit in flash mode - just idea, not expertise.

@btgc I didn't take the broken CC cause the only hint was from you and nothing else could be found in the internet.

Now I fished a full working CC out of the 'bay. I have to do a lot of cleaning and the light seals will be replaced, but that's no problem. I hope I can get a roll through the next week.

This ebay seller has probably sold more 35cc Yashicas than all the other sellers on ebay put together.

I suspect he is the "go-to" guy on information on the 35cc, or he knows who is the person to talk with.
