A friend of mine state side sent me a clean and clear Leica filter in the misunderstanding that it was an E39 to fit my collapsible Summicron but it appears to be a larger model. Can anyone help me to size this by eye, I’ve taken some pics below – the first has the filter on top of my Summicron that has a 39mm thread and the second has it on top of my Industar 61 that has a 40.5mm thread so I know it’s bigger than those but after trying to hunt down the model that this may be on the internet I’ve found out that there are numerous plausible models floating around.
I still really need an E39 UVa and for that matter a 36 push fit UVa and a 35mm LTM-M adapter and have no use for this one. So if there is anyone close who would like to make a swap offer then I would be very grateful as I’m particularly strapped for cash after getting my M and a pair of lenses for it!
Many thanks in advance for any help!

Is the diameter 41mm or 43mm? In case it is 41mm it was made for the Summarit. The 43mm is made for he Summilux. I have a 39mm Uva but I don't have a Summarit nor a Summilux, so better trade with people who have those lenses.

Thank you ron, what part do i measure? is it from the extremity of the threads?

It appears to be a 41mm from the pictures. Carefully measure the outside diameter of the thread, not the rim.
