Raid, we've
got to stop meeting like this...
😉
I just got back from
Galapagos (a happening art/performance space in DUMBO) as the semi-official photographer for St. Ann's Graduation Bash. Loud, crowded and animated, my working style (with my Hexar kit and Contax Tvs) could have been choreographed by Quentin Tarantino, minus most of the bloodshed ("Oh, that...? Just a bit of spilled wine on my lens hood...no, I
think it's the Shiraz..."). Hoising the cameras over, around, and (respectfully) under the crowds. Shot only four rolls, but somehow it felt like seven or eight...and, no, I didn't forget to reload at any point. Select images forthcoming.
Tomorrow is chock-full o' tech jobs I need to start–or finish–for an assortment of clients, so no snaps that day, salthough I'll drop off tonight's shoot for developing in the morning, then pick up later in the day. Might not get to scanning till early Sunday.
