I had the CV Skopar 35/2.5 classic, and liked it, but ultimately sold it. I "replaced" it w/ a Minolta Rokkor-M 40/2.0 (CLE version), purchased from a member here. The two lenses are about the same size, which is to say quite small, and gaining an extra stop w/ the Rokkor 40 was, to me, worth the slight difference in focal length. Finally, the Rokkor 40 produces a look that is indistinguishable from a 35 summicron v. 4. Since I can't afford a summicron 35 (either v. 3 or v. 4), this was a pretty satisfactory result. Although the little CV skopar is a great lens and a fabulous bargain, I haven't missed it.
