Well, you can look up my many posts in Konica section here on RFF with my examples from Hexanons to see why I like them so much. But I let even better photographers speak out - check out these two:

I was very pleased to find a whole bevy of my images with the Hex 50 1.2 posted via this Flickr link. (These are all mine.) I love this lens. It's in my personal pantheon along with some other terrific glass.

What I love about hexanon lenses - they make any old boring shot look very good:

I wonder how the Hexanon UC 35/2 performs compared to the Canon 35/2 in terms of sharpness?

Bill,
Find a nice Canon lens in Korea. Send it to me. I'll ket you know.
In the meantime, UC-Hexanon + Kodachrome 64 + Flatonia Texas.

Flatonia? You are little West of your usual digs, aren't you?
I'd be happy to look for you, but there's few Canon (or any other) LTM lenses. I don't know why, but maybe it's because the Korean economy wasn't very robust during those earlier days. I got mine from the US. In contrast, there are a ton of older Nikon SLR manual lenses from a later decade or two (at quite low prices).
However, let me know what you're lookin' for and I'll check my usual haunts.
Maybe the best place to get the Canon LTM lenses are from Japan and Jiri Ecer is the go-to-guy in my opinion.

I really like getting away from Megalopolis and going to the little towns out west. I spent several hours in Flatonia and didn't see another person.
I've got all the lenses any 3 mortals would ever need.
