Post your ZM C-Sonnar pics

CONTRAST is what I ADORE besides the crisp Sharpness
of ZEISS lenses.. its Zeiss's Signature so to speak
and
I Love the Look of older pre asph Leica Lenses for their Look

I've recently conducted a review of the photo's taken with all my M's and their lenses of different types and decided that consistently the photo's that I like the most are those taken on my M3 with the CZ Sonnar 1,5/50. I'm not sure quite why that is, quite possibly something to do with the contrastiness, but it is so.

This is the J-class Shamrock V berthing at St Tropez in 2007: perhaps not my best but it shows the characteristics of images drawn by this lens - not perfect but I like it a lot. I can't seem to achieve a comparable transition from sharp to out of focus, the background and the micro-contrast with other lenses, including the asph summilux 50.

Love this lens. Great shots in this thread. Meven, what color film was used in the shots you posted above? I think these were Acros:

redpony - The first 2 shots are with Fuji Provia 400H, the third one is Tmax 400 and the rest are digital on the M8.

I posted this in another thread.

I'm in the honeymoon phase with this lens and simply adore it. We're going more than one month strong now and holding. From earlier this evening...

I think he is asking "I have to change what?" - Stockholm, Gallerian (a shopping arcade), M2 and the C Sonnar 50f1.5. Probably 1/60 at f1.5 or f2. Neopan Presto 400 and developed in HC 110 1:60 for 12 min.
