I'm looking around for a messenger/satchel type of bag that can carry two rangefinders; one camera with a 35mm (Summicron), and the other camera with a 90mm (Elmarit). Something with a padded divider. Any recommendations? I thank you kindly!

Well I have a domke f5xb that can fit:
M6 with 28/2 and hood, M2 with 50/2 and hood, small lightmeter, about 12 rolls of film, pen, leaflets (photog's rights), spare battery or two. It's a tight fit with all of that, but by no means unusable. that should give you an idea that anything bigger than this should be able to comfortably fit your kit and more.

I got mine from ebay for a bit cheaper (dealer called photococan from memory), but here's a link to one on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00009R89L...e=asn&creative=380341&creativeASIN=B00009R89L

The "Incognito" by Courierware has served me well. Made for cameras, nice padded insert. Perfect for two RF bodies - i have the extra small. It is just the right size you want slung over your shoulder. It is small enough to keep you from trying to carry everything, though.

Does anyone have any experience with the domke J-5xb? Not F. It seems to be a couple inches bigger than the F-5xb.

Haven't heard of the J-5xb.

I have the F-5xc which is bigger than the F-5xb and as far as I'm aware is messenger-bag style.
It has the extra zip-able compartment at the bottom and quite clever movable inserts. It would carry two RF just fine though it wouldn't have tons of room for other junk.

I usually carry and M8, 50mm, 28mm 15mm lenses, a Ricoh GRD, some batteries and lens hoods. This leaves me one RF sized comartment free which I normally put a bottle of water in.

Bob.

What is the difference between the F-302 and 303? I have the F-5XC and it could hold two RFs very easily but it doesn't have any other compartments.

That bag costs within $20 of the real thing. Is it that much better than the Domke?

Don't know what price you're seeing but I bought my CF700 for ~US$60 which was about half the price of the Domke. Yes, its much better than the original. Better canvas and all sides of all compartments are padded - the Domke just has a padded middle pocket - as well it comes with a very good removable shoulder pad.

The Domke sells for $100 new, so that's not quite half. Figure in shipping for $20 on the CF700 while you can find free shipping on the Domke and the difference is down to $20. I know my Domke has padding all over. I am interested in the knockoff, but I'd like to see it up close first.
