"Save The TaTas", to put it in terms that most members here can appreciate.
But seriously ...
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Breast cancer is a very serious condition which will afflict about 12% of all women (and some men!) and will affect virtually all in one way or another.
Please, everybody, be aware of this disease, learn about it, and support those who happen to be victims of it!
One thing you can do which is not very difficult at all, during October, many merchants will be accepting $1 donations at check-out. Please do this! If everyone would simply do this on their first register purchase of each day, it will be the most successful campaign ever!
And, please show us your pink!

Great post...
Last year, I donated my time and produced a CD for the Trek dealer in Peachtree City having the Breast Cancer Awareness Ride. It was their first and was quite successful!
Here is one of the spirited ladies yelling: "Save the Ta-Ta's!"

That one kinda reminded me of this one.

Denise: Of course, here in NYC, "show us the pink" is a phrase that's used most advisedly...
Anyway, here's mine:

LOL! Yes, most of us are somewhat familiar with the schoolyard vernacular.
And most of the outatowners have no clue what BBG is.

Yep, better we get that acronym demystified now, before some assume the worst:
- BBG = Brooklyn Botanical Garden
I do have a longstanding rep for a somewhat risqué sense of humor, but I won't put the Gardens through that (at least, not now
).
