Keh

And their new search behavior is a pain. I think they'll see quite noticeable hit on the sales this month because of this. Hope they'll improve the usability rather quick.

I see it as no worse than before . I think that its almost as annoying as any photo retail site, all of which could use improvement, and much prefer the monthly wish book they send me .

It's not the first time. For at least a couple of years, they had a web page that would not work for non-Windows browsers. When I sent them an email about it, they weren't particularly concerned. OK with me, I did business with B&H and Adorama instead. Now that they've fixed it for Firefox/Linux, I'm doing business with them again.

I don't buy from them personally, but others have told me this week (since their site re-do with all it's web 2.0-y dropdowns and whatnot) ordering doesn't work at all. The last step before payment results in "server error, cannot continue".

Oh God, what a PITA.

i usually call to order anyway--it avoids "buying" items that have already been sold but haven't been removed from the site.

All the scripting has really slowed down their page loads, too. they really need a competent web person.

I had to phone a few days ago to order something, after getting repeated error messages on their order page. They told me they had installed new software and knew it wasn't working correctly.

I'm surprised it isn't fixed yet. Maybe they don't want to pay weekend rates.

Also, while we're flogging poor KEH, their embarrassingly grammatically incorrect banner, HAVE GEAR LAYING AROUND?, drives me a little bananas. They should upgrade that too.

No wonder I had problem checking out with my shopping cart this weekend. Just bought an iMac, so I was using Safari. I had attributed the glitch as one of their teething problem with the new site.

Will try again with firefox, then.

i tried with IE and Seamonkey and my orders didn't go through.
then called the hotline on saturday and the operators are busy so left a message. the one good thing is that online there is a shipping cost calculator.

this is pissing me off, i want to make a large purchase and there's no support at all.

Then i found and bought a lens, Nikon 35 2.8 AiS.
