We're all light!
Be strong, amigo. The MX is golden.on ebay this evening there is/was an olympus om4t with winder 2 for bin of $170. i figured i could sell my black mx with 40 lens, but i decided no. go look!
Hey, happens to the most-stout of us.frank on ebay?
what is this world coming to?
The more I think about it, the more I believe that Konica (with the Hexar RF) was the only outfit that got the how-to-paint-titanium thing properly sussed out. (Black epoxy, people!)Good price ... I just hate to say this, but ... I don't like the way the finish on the non-black T bodies ages. And believe me, I really like titanium ... I carry titanium with me at all times.
Maybe some black tape, hmmmm...........
Finally, someone mentions something almost worth my sitting in front of a TV for. Sorry I missed it. The original series was the highlight of my TV-watching days. So, why would anyone watch "Dancing With the Stars" when a remake of "The Prisoner" is on?

Crap, crap, crap! I completely forgot about that! How was it?
Well, it's even stranger than the original in some ways. I have a DVR, so I'm saving it to watch again.

Yeah, the original "Prisoner" blew me away when I watched it in the '60s. I recently caught about half of it on IFC on the run up to the new version, and some of them still are excellent, but some also look very dated. The underlying theme still shows up though.
Ask me next week week after I've had time to watch the new version.

The best camera is one that still works!
Are we talking 'Prisoner' or 'The Prisoner?'
'Prisoner' was an Australian series from a similar era and 'The Prisoner' was the british series starring Patrick McGoohan!

Keith: The latter. Definitely raised the bar for my standards at the time!

Staying off topic here is one to watch (if its still there) half way down the page. The notorious Betty Page. Lots of cameras to check. http://www.-bbc.co.uk/iplayer/tv/bbc-two/2009-11-08

Michael: the link is broken, plus BBC doesn't allow playback outside the UK, at least not without the user fiddling/spoofing.

Well, it's all SWMBO's fault. I was surfing forums while she watched DWTS. That's when I found this thread. And the other thread. The one with the mint 90mm Elmarit-M. In my own backyard. The seller delivered it at lunch.
Yep, it's all Her fault!

in my defense, my wife was watching dancing with the stars, and i can't use my right hand so i can't develop any film or make prints.
I'd skip it Frank, a black OM4T or Ti is much cooler-looking.
DWTS, another reason that I love my daughter, she kept my wife company watching that... ehm, competition.

"Thank you. Thank you very much," he mumbled in his best imitation of The King.

The main difference with the OM-4 compared to a 2 is the spot meter right?
The OM-4/4T also works with the F-280 flash, which has an FP setting that allows the flash to sync at all shutter speeds and uses the series 2 focusing screens, which are even brighter than the original OM screens.
