I sometimes find it amusing that people dismiss how something is shot solely by judging the subject being shot.

It's like not liking the soup because the bowl is pink. Or not liking the pink bowl because of its soup.

Try all the American films made in Toronto, Vancouver, etc. I remember going to see A Christmas Story, and commenting to my girlfriend about the Toronto streetscapes. She thought I was being a jerk, but I was right ... though I was a jerk about other things.
