Aki-Asahi GF1 case prototype--anyone read Japanese?

Aki-Asahi has got a photo of a GF-1 prototype up on his site. Scroll down...

If you can read Japanese, does it say anything about the case actually going into production? I'm interested in this one because it appears to actually be wrist-strap friendly.

Hm. Supposedly he's working on it. It's a nice one! The E-P2 with brown case looks even better.
 
I bought a case for my Canon G10, from Canon. Fits well, looks great and I'm pleased with it. One thing does spring to mind however:

I have put nice 1/2 cases on my M2 and M4-P because I wish to protect them as much as possible through their long life expectancy. My G10 has been updated already with the G11, my other digicams are out of date, defective, or redundant.

Might just as well let our P&S digicams face the world naked for their short lives as spend money on expensive cases.
 
Thanks for the link. It seems like the JNKs ones are priced at around $140-$150, and the Aki-Asahi ones may be priced at around $100-$110 assuming they will be similarly priced to the EP1 cases.
 
Its pretty expensive yar? :(
I hope to be getting the JNK ones soon.
I really dislike the "button" feature of the Aki-Asahi...I got the "gowatchsite" "double button" halfcase and really hated it.
The presence of halfcase does helps me to have a better grip of the GF1 for my big hands though.

Yes, I have been having a hard time deciding a case to improve the grip of the GF1. I have not been too impressed by the ones from HK/China and the JNK and AA ones look the best although they are quite pricey. I may just end up grabbing the genuine one from Panasonic.

Also there is a new case that has just been released by Capdase too, which is similar to the one offered by Panasonic. There are some small photos here.

@eooojj: which case did you get from gowatchsite? is it the one with the lens cover too? Did the case wrap around the camera tightly?

Sorry to be so shallow as to enquire about cases... but has anyone received their Aki Asahi case yet? I'm on the waiting list for a dk brown, but I wondered if anyone had seen the natural tan, as in the first post here, in the flesh??
