I have got a FED 5b with a probelm to its shutter: the former owner set the exposure dial before cocking the shutter.
It can be cocked but its behaviour is not correct now: what can I do to restore it? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

It's possible the pin that operates the slow-speed mechanism is bent, broken or displaced. You'll need to take the top cover off to find out what's going on. The slow-speed mechanism works in exactly the same way as the Zorki 4/4K, for which you can find pictures and descriptions in my "HOW TO CLA" sticky thread.

A great announcement: I have repaired the Fed 5b, thanks to the manual written by Wolves. It took 3 hours, and now the Fed works like a Swiss watch.
Once removed the top, I discovered that the cam moved by the slow speed gears was misplaced.
Now I dare tell you how much I paid for it: 0.90 EUR!!!!!!
The same as a cup of espresso coffee in Italy... but it "runs" like an espresso tran (but not Italian!)
What a great way to start a new year!!!

A great announcement to all of you: my FED5b came to life again a 3-hour CLA.
A day trip to the snowy Alps to let her feel at home and I was dressed accordingly for the occasion!
A great camera indeed!
