Hello,
Two weeks ago, I unscrewed the advance knob on a Canon II rangefinder camera. But something happened. Now the shutter, once cocked, can be moved in reverse using the knob. And if I wiggle the knob, the shutter begins to move backwards. Isn't there something that is supposed to prevent that? Where would it be? If I tighten the knob too much, it paralyzes the whole advance mechanism and if it is too loose, it can't advance without sliding backwards. I took videos of these. Not sure I can show anyone here. Is there any way to repair this?
