Who still modifies G1 bodies?

I'm looking to update my G1 body to accept the 35mm. Is anyone still offering this service?

That is no matter of modification, but of a firmware upgrade. All formerly authorized service places should still be able to do it.

hm, i shoot with a modified g1 with the 35. i would rather be shooting with an unmodified with the 45. Perhaps we could work out a trade

I actually want the option to use either the 35 or 45. I like the 28 but would love to have the extra stop gained with the 35/2. Plus, the 45 is way too sharp to give up.
