Hi Bill and Gabriel,
I have bought a few items from Peter Coeln, the proprieter of Leicashop. No problems but do factor in shipping as it can be costly from Austria. Leicashop runs reputable auctions that includes very high price items.
Cheers,
Paul

Thank you,
Considering what I am looking for though not that expensive is hard to come by and it saves me having to deal with Eprey.

I live in Vienna, and occasionally visit the Leica Shop to look at the things I will never be able to afford. Personally, why spend over a thousand Euros for a "user" M3 when you can get one for 400 Euros on the auction site? That said, sometimes the Leica Shop does have good deals on non-Leica items (I paid 170 Euros for a brand new YashicaMat 124G with leather everready case). They are 100% trustworthy and the items are always correctly described. Go for it!
Just to get the last word, though, don't dis the auction site. It takes some intuition to find good sellers, but when you do, you'll be really satisfied with the great deal you got.

I agree. Leicashop can be expensive but you can get very good deals sometimes. I wont dis the auction site either as I have gotten good deals there too and made some friends.

Does anyone know how much cost the shipping delivery of Leicashop?

I bought a lens from Leicashop last year. The price, especially with the Euro-dollar exchange, put it well out of the bargain range. Their condition rating and description were 100% accurate. They shipped via UPS; the package was delivered here in the southeast U.S. 4 days after it left Vienna. Peter called me during the transaction, in fact, to clear up some address confusion.
I don't know how their prices compare with other European shops. Generally, Americans ought not to expect bargains, on much of anything, in Europe. Otherwise, they were a pleasure to buy from and I'd do it again if circumstances warranted.

I've bought once. I was very happy with the transaction. They even called me (from
Austria, I'm in Spain) to check everything. There was no need to. That 50 is my most used lens right now. Without doubts, I will buy again, when the right thing appears in their listings.

I've bought a number of items from them, and have always been happy with the service. It is an essential visit if you are in Vienna - their museum and gallery make it a great day out even if you are just window shopping.

Two purchases, both smooth as a babies butt. Highly recommended. Fast shippong and goods better than stated. Rates cautiously, I bought a Komura 80/3.5 and an Acall 35mm finder, both perfect.

Mr. Coeln and his team are very knowledgable and friendly people.
They are not only interested in selling, they also buy, offering IMHO sensible prices.
When I was in Vienna last time, I had opportunity to swap some of my Rolleiflex (SL35) stuff for a beautiful Minolta SR-7(v) kit.

Did some purchases from Peter Coeln, as well as traded in/sold some items to them. Very trustworthy, very correct descriptions, some very rare items to drool over. 100% satisfied.

I bought a chrome Visoflex short-mount for the 90mm F2 Summicron from Leicashop in Vienna, and I felt I got an excellent deal. And not too expensive shipping to the USA considering, and the item was received very quickly, in perfect condition. And at the time, it was a hard to find item.
