Nikkor 5cm f/1.5 on eBay

Not worth $800 in my opinion......you can find these on Tower cameras if your lucky, they successfully sell in the $700/$800 range, over $1,000 is too much money, the look/bokeh is'nt a big deal, buy a CZJ f1.5/50 Sonnar T and you have the real deal....

Tom, please, whic is the right web address of tower cameras, i don't find it.
thanks.
Steve.

Steve,

I mentioned that if you find some Tower cameras sometimes have these lenses on them, I know of at least 3 camera combos, where the dealers bought the camera for dirt money, (less then $300) and then posted the lens for sale online a week later @
$2,500 (THEY STILL HAVE THE LENS AFTER 2 YEARS!) ~ These LTM f1.5's successfully sell in the $700 to $800 range alone. (and that's what I figure they are really worth, for what they sell for.....)

Not a real great performer, it's just a rarity thing, the Nikkor SC f1.4/50 and the Canon f1.5/50 are better shooting lenses, if you can't find the original and equally as rare WW2 issue T CZJ Sonnar f1.5/50.

Keep seraching, the Nikkor f1.5's do turn up.....just have to be quicker then a dealer when buying, that lucky garage sale, is where it's BEST to find one :D

rotoloni indicates only 800 made , less than 400 in nikon rf mount . a little more than 400 in screw mount . this is the correct lens for an unsynced nikon m . this and the rarity keep the price consistantly high . probably better left for the serious collector .
