Sorry if this info has been discussed previously -- my search of RFF didn't seem to give me a precise answer.
Basic story:
Bought a QL-17 GIII from wheeBay, "as-is", reasonable price.
Good news: Camera cosmetically is a gem, lens is fine, film winder is good, rangefinder is clear and working well. Shutter seems to be working fine.
Bad news: typical melted light seals. Light meter only works sporadically -- either due to a bad solder somewhere, or corrosion from the battery compartment.
I really like this camera but it needs a "day at the spa".
I am looking for a shop / repairperson in Canada or USA that has an excellent rep for dealing with these cameras.
Any help would be appreciated! Cheers!
