Canon LTM Can anyone recommend a good shop for QL-17 refurb / CLA?

Sorry if this info has been discussed previously -- my search of RFF didn't seem to give me a precise answer.

Basic story:

Bought a QL-17 GIII from wheeBay, "as-is", reasonable price.

Good news: Camera cosmetically is a gem, lens is fine, film winder is good, rangefinder is clear and working well. Shutter seems to be working fine.

Bad news: typical melted light seals. Light meter only works sporadically -- either due to a bad solder somewhere, or corrosion from the battery compartment.

I really like this camera but it needs a "day at the spa".

I am looking for a shop / repairperson in Canada or USA that has an excellent rep for dealing with these cameras.

have you tried classic camera in town?

he has a tech that is pretty good. i brought in my oly 35rc for a tune up a few years ago.

Thanks for the head's-up about Classic Camera ... I didn't know he did CLA's. That's a great idea, I'll check with him first.
