I can't decide from all the available cameras, or even to wait a bit.
The three aspects hooking me in are 1) ability to continue to use my Leica M lenses, 2) ability to shoot video and 3) compact size/portability.
My primary need is still image quality, although I'm far from expert or professional.
I could use the video features professionally, but the end result would be headed for the web only.
I have no real budget constraints.
So it's all a bit confusing with so many options out there.
One model that's caught my eye is the Panasonic GF-1.
Audio is a compromise perhaps, but not insurmountable.
I just bought a Lumix DMC FT-1 for 'happy snaps' and primarily for my partner, and I find the screen very hard to use accurately. I guess my eyesight is on the way out!
Maybe i would be better to spend a bit more on the GH-1?
Or is there something even better suited to my needs about to be announced?
