Wow, what a long title.

I need some help with developing
Fotokemika Efke KB50.

1. I have Tmax Developer. The mixture ration is 4 to 1.
2. The recommended times offered by Freestyle
Fotokemika Efke KB50 using Kodak D76 1 to 1 is 9 minutes. That is 30 seconds less than for TMax 100.
3. For Tmax 100 developed in Tmax developer is 7 minutes 30 seconds.

So my question is should I just develop the Fotokemika Efke at 7 minutes in the Kodak Tmax Developer?

Does anything I just written make any sense?

Thanks for the help!

Here is what MD says:

http://www.digitaltruth.com/devchart.php?Film=Efke+50&Developer=TMax+Dev&mdc=Search

But I have to say when I've used Efke film I've had a tough time finding starting points (one of the reasons I don't choose to use them except for Efke IR820 and their 25). Also, I use an American developers and the eastern EURO film makers don't seem to care about the foreign stuff (as I'm sure is vice versa).

edit: MD is probably just taken off Freestyle.

I'm not sure that Tmax is ideal for a traditional emulsion - it was developed for Tmax film, but if that's all you've got you can probably make it work.
If you can work out some correlation between times in D76 and Tmax for some other film stock that might help you decide on a starting time. Whilst data from Freestyle/MDC is useful a lot of it is provided by amateurs based on their own experience and preferences and that might not be to your taste.
Efke say 7 mins in D76 or ID-11 for KB50.
Massive Development Chart gives 6 mins in Tmax.
Ilford give 4 mins for their 50 ISO Pan F+ in Tmax 1:4.
Personally I'd go for 6 mins this time and treat it as an experiment. Adjust for future films based on what you get.

Hi,

Thanks for the responses. I used the TMax developer at 6 minutes and 15 seconds at 20 C. The results are fine by me. I am finish off the test roll. The next development will be a bit longer.

Here are the results.

Thanks for the help guys.
