Has anyone used these adapters before? I am wondering about the quality and precision of the indentations. Here is a link to his ebay listing:

I have seen some pretty crappy adapters before, so I don't want the hassle if they don't function perfectly. Anyone know of anyone else offering a like item? (Other than the $150 brand!)

I have purchased some Kipon brand adapters on ebay which are very nice and go for about the same price. They have the coding recesses machined. Interesting that the ones you are looking at look like they are already white, although I have found you really only need the black codes, silver metal/white act the same. Seller has sold one of these with buyer saying "thanks" so I guess they were happy. They look OK and seller has good feedback. Good luck.

I have two 'Kipon' branded adapters from this ebay shop
http://stores.ebay.co.uk/nordiccamera
one for a CV 21mm and one for an LTM 5cm lens and they both work brilliantly. Just fill the appropriate slots with black paint (sometimes black marker pens are not opaque enough) and you are ready to go.
