Hi everybody, it's just arrived my m39-mu43 adapter, so yesterday I had a little walkaround in my city to test it with CV 50/1.5 (other topic) and CV 90/3.5

After a few minutes I needed to understand "how to do", I must say the combo is really nice and a joy to use, the in-focus objects does really "pop-up", and people see you like a tourist with a compact camera, they don't really notice you, and thisi a huge advantage

Image quality also is superb, and so I'm really happy with my new camera

Great stuff!

Yes, I find MF surprisingly easy for such an "amateur" camera. I wait for the image in the finder to show "moire" and fire. Pretty easy.

I can see my E-PL1 replacing my DSLR for any situation that doesn't involve action. It's already my go-to travel/walkaround camera.

The E-LP1 with the EVF is the new-age RF equivalent body. My M-mount lenses from CV 25/4 to 40/1.4 would be usable. I would buy the Olympus 17mm pancake lens to round-out the outfit.

Alternatively, I would buy the optical VF and mask out the FoV for the longer lenses...easy enough to do.

Yes, the "moire trick" works, but you need the right subject (shirts with stripes, house roofs, ecc...). When i can use it, it's a great way to focus ;-)

yes, one of the advantages of the M43s cameras 2x crop factor. I used to use my Summicron 90/2 on my EP1, turning into a 180mm/f2!

I use my 90/2.8 Elmarit on my Ep-1 all the time for Macro style shots. Especially flowers. Oly colours are awesome and Elmarit OOF areas are so smooth. Would love to use EVF but I don't think it works on EP-1.
