A few from my first roll from the M3... I think I'm hooked. And I'm getting better at the meter. Been a while since I had shot with a meterless camera, and it's a new to me meter (Minolta Auto III) that I hadn't used before. Alright, enough excuses, here are some results. The whole album is here

1. One for Tom - Not Mr.B but oh well. 90mm f4 elmar screwmount

2. Collapsible Summicron, f8

3. Fancy Friday - Summicron f11

4. Summicron again

5. And I'll finish it off with the LTM elmar f3.5, uncoated.

C&C always welcome, but I just wanted to share a few from the first roll.

Nice photos. I like #3 the best. The pastel-ly colours and the vintage dresses makes it look like the shot could have been taken 40 years ago.

Mudman, Nice work. Of course you're hooking. Paraphrasing Oscar Wilde, the best thing to do with temptation is to give in.

Chris Crawford: are there any cats you have encountered that are not pure evil?;)

yes, great combo of the older lenses and slide film. I've always liked the way our 90mm LTM draws B&W, but wasnt impressed when I put in on my RD-1 with digital sensor. However, the trick seems to be to use it with in color mode only with punchy slide film. Ditto for the 50mm collapsible.

Nostalgic for sure, and works in different lighting conditions: the 50 collapsible with the dancing girls/balloons: I actually love how the darker colors go flat while the brighter colors retain their hue and pop out. Then, in a different situation, the Elmar allows all the colors to glow in the last shot, I'm presuming its a dusk shot with all the warmer colors, or is that due only to the uncoating of the lens?
In any case, nice collection, and thanks for sharing.

You have a serious red/magenta problem with the color shots. If they look normal to you, you need a monitor calibration.

Ronald - I've been having issues with that and my V500 Epson. Having said that, I don't see the problem and yes my monitor is properly calibrated.

How is this?

I've completely removed Magenta via selective color and hue saturation in PSCS3
