35mm summicron ASPH going rate?

Prices vary considerably around the world. Mainline (in Sydney) is asking AU$2995 for a mint black version at the moment.

I had the chance to bag that cheapest one last weekend, but thought , nah, I'll do some more research. When I satisfied myself with enough info, I went back the next day only to find that it had already been snapped!

For those kind of rupees I'd get the 35 Summilux pre-asph for the extra stop and save $500.

So 35mm pre-asph summlux is cheaper than 35mm summicron ASPH?
