UK Region Manchester Outing Sat 17th July

All packed up.
In the bag: Mamiya 6 and plenty of film. And a pile of prints.
Anybody else bring prints?

See ya all tomorrow.

Vincent

I've just run some prints off on my little Canon Vincent.

Looking forward to seeing your 'Texas Leica'!

Not bringing your pair of M6's?

Looks like I'll be there tomorrow as well. Will take beloved Contax G2 along with some Legacy film to try on and wind/water proof jacket.

Just had a quick look at your blog Mauros - some really nice shots there.

See you tomorrow!

Great day guys. Thanks to all for attending!

Sorry about the weather (I'll try and do better next time). However I did deliver on the 'Woman under a giant knitted boulder' and you can't ask for more than that! ;)

I'll try and get some pics up later on today, after I have finished my domestic chores (groan!). I look forward to seeing everybody else's.

Bob. :)

Here's some of mine (more on my flickr)

I think after a while people grew wary of all the photographers hanging around. ;)

But it wasn't all one sided.

Despite the early rain it turned out to be a very pleasant day.

C'mon you film people - get souping those negs! :D

Bob.

The Ginger haired girl (rachel) with the florescent jacket on is a friend lol. Was out having a drink with her and our mates last night as a matter of fact. Small world

Small world indeed Chris!
I had a brief chat with Rachael. I think she is very courageous to do performance art, especially in the pouring rain in Manchester. I thought a diptych would be a more effective way of representing what she was doing. If she want's any shots for her own use just tell her to drop me a line, I have a few others.

Here's of one of the organisers - the delightful Sam.

You should join us and do some shooting next time!

Bob.

Well there wasa lot of coffee drunk by Alan ,Sparrow and yourself. And I got to handle the famous dinged M2 ,which hasn`t so much as a blemish on it now.I handed it back quickly for fear of dropping it and starting another thread .

All well and good, but the world needs to see the truth, nay it's its right, its inalienable right ... Where are the 100 Dorothies, we need to know!!

Was it all just a myth - I don't know.

However something equally amazing.

Vincent, shortly after being the first man to ever leave the Leica shop with more money than he went in with! A story that will surely become legend.

:)

We missed them .
However we were asked to be official photogs for the event ,which runs twice a year, so maybe next time.
We did all go to see Bob`s picture though at the City photo exhibition. Someones got a shot of it...Bob is too modest to post.
