Any suggestion on the best Leica M adapter for the Panasonic G1? Rayqual, Panasonic, etc.? I've got several M lenses from a VC 15/4.5 to a 135/2.8 Elmarit-M and I want something that works well. Two lenses are LTM with M adapter rings and I don't want it so tight on the micro 4/3 adapter that that I wind up unscrewing the lens from the LTM adapter.

I am sure that most adapters work OK according to all od the posts in the various threads on this forum. I have the CV adapter and can attest to its high quality. I find that a slight inward pressure on the lens when removing it from the adapter prevents unscrewing.

I got one from Hong Kong. Only 30 US$ (the voigtlander adapter is six times more expensive). It works fine with my M lenses and LTM lenses with an LTM to M adapter ring. Pretty good quality, as far as I can tell. All metal! The lens fits tightly, but is easily removed.

I have the Megabones brand -- under $85.00 -- (Ebay) (AKA Voigtlander I think)... It is tight, well built and looks identical to the Voigtlander... Maybe the same...?

If you want one cheap, look for ebay one with "RJ Camera" stamp on it. I've had several of them in the past they worked perfectly. Very first batch had problem to achieve infinity, but that was when G1 first came out and they fixed the problem. I just sold mine.
