I'm busy convincing myself that I can make my EP-2 into a modern equivalent of my CLE, my all time favorite camera. I spent years with the 40 on the camera and the 28 and 90 in my pockets. I've got the 20 and the 45 is on order. When the 14 comes out it will complete the set up, I hope.

Now if I could only find a digital equivalent to my Contax T......

Not m4/3, but a new owner of the NEX 5... small size, big sensor (compared to m4/3) and "only' 1.5x crop convinced me.

i do. g1. but i love my rd-1 so much i might consolidate on it. i will say that although the g1's bokeh is inferior to the rd-1, the color accuracy isn't. and when i pick up the g1 i'm always reminded of how much i love its ergonomics. it's a very well-sorted device. personally, i think the best lens i have for it is a summicron 40.

Picked up my GF1 with the 20 from the DHL depot this morning (via Ebay from Hongkong.) Not only my first M4/3 camera but my first ever digital. Will wait until my 14 year old daughter gets home from school, give her the manual then she can show me how to use it. I feel I'm about to begin a huge learning curve. If I find I like it I'll get an adaptor to use my 9 M and LTM lenses.

RF user yes, but mostly shoot digital now and rarely use film anymore. I use a E-P2 for my every day carry around camera with a 20mm 1.7 for low light, 50mm Canon Sonnar 1.5 for portraits/med telephoto, with an EVF. I also have a Voigtlander 75mm 2.5 that I use occasionally, but don't carry it every day like the others. Will be ordering a 9-18 or 7-14 in the future for the wide end. And have a 14-48 kit lens that sits in a drawer.

E-P1 mostly + adapter/M/LTM lenses, still shooting B&W film more than half the time.

Recent EP-1 purchaser here. So far, so good.

Although I expected I would be using my Leica and Voigtlander lenses on the EP-1 but it has been difficult for me. I think an EP-2 or EPL-1 with EVF would be easier to use with manual focusing. I particularly like the 17mm with optical viewfinder. I've ordered an Olympus 25/2.8 with an adapter that I'll use with a Leitz 50mm VF--my most used rangefinder lenses were the 35 and 50mm Summicrons.

I may eventually sell the Leicas since they haven't gotten much use for several months.

I have recently bought the E-P1 and i like it 🙂 i use a number or 'legacy' lenses with it (that's what these young digital kids call our lenses) and also the 17/2.8.

I like it! my DSLR is a Nikon D40 and i'm paying serious mind to selling it and just using the E-P1 for digital until affording my M9 becomes a viable option. i do worry about loosing kudos when shooting studio or model photography with a PEN instead of a DSLR though

Nope, not me. I have an old digital point-and-shoot that gets used every couple of months - it's still adequate for those occasions.

Happy with my Lumix G1. I intended to get an adapter to use my LTM lenses on it but, so far, I've never worked up the energy - the kit lens is very good and I enjoy using my LTM lenses on my Leicas.
