Uh - I did not include the four Zeiss Super Ikontas - 645 and 6x9. Should I?
No, as Pirate said, we are doing here a Leica Serial Numbers List...
Serial number 1711276. Recently back from DAG for a CLA and upgrades, and absolutely enjoying it!
And what's with the upgrades?..

Hi Nugard,
Yes, I am from Holland. The official name of that country is however "The Netherlands".
Are there only M-Leicas accepted on the list? Leica LTM would also be interesting.

Give advices on how it is used best? Call the police? Get depressed that i cant do anything?

Penzes - Judging on your camera collection, you are indeed penzes

sorry maybe that's inappropriate, but 'penzes' means a dude with lots of money (or a chick), in hungarian (which he is).
Funny.
But this is your real name, i suppose?

Actually... I don't know...
But. There is a stollen cameras list... So why not doing such?..
You can call police, only if there is a way to track person who stole it... If not... Then, it depends on a law of the Country you and a camera are in...
Penzes is a nickname. Real name is Istvan

Actually, this is a good question. Depending on how much you are willing to spend to get it back will dictate what you will do.
I remember reading about Ed King, one of the original guitarists for Lynyrd Skynyrd. His 1959 Les Paul guitar was stolen. After many many years of searching, he is walking through a book store and sees his guitar on the cover of a book!
He dealt with this by contacting his lawyer, the creator of the book, tracked down the collector who had the guitar, and proved it was his and that it had been stolen, and the guitar was returned to him.
So, it is possible to get things back. In your case, finding someone that has it may lead back to the person who stole it also. Just a thought.

Hi, Pénzes is my real name, and I'm unfortunately not rich, but I spend my money on cameras in the past few years. This was my focus till now. I don't smoke, or drink (to much), so life is all about priority's.

Erik, are you sure in this number? I think I can see there "1258734". Anybody else can see those other two numbers?
BTW, there are a lot of copys made in USSR, and I saw a lot of them. On photos it's not very clear to a person who doesn't collect cameras wich is real, true Leica.

I'm pretty sure the engraving is "No. 58734".

My last, or family name is Pénzes, the first name is István. You asked for the Nickname, which is in my case Penzes.
If you want to be absolutely correct, István Pénzes would be the right usage of my name in this context.

Hi Volodimir,
The number is 58734 and it is a real Leica I. I have seen a lot of fakes or "copies", so you can be sure it is genuine.
Erik.
