Photo of the camera, please...:)

Please, do that...

I think it will add some more interest to the thread. Also mondering were nearest cameras the same colour?

Serial numbers without cameras photos will be darker colour.

UPD: I have added an example in the first post, to make it easier to you guys. ;)

Yep - It's real. Wanted one for 20 years, but never was able to get a good deal, until earlier this year. Found it right here in RFF. I sent it off to Sherry for cleaning and modification (got it set up for use with a Leicavit). There's a shot of it on the "show us your Leica M" forum (I think it's like on page 168 or so). This is a really cool idea, I hope everyone plays along. I once had sequential Nikon D200's - but that isn't as cool because I bought them that way. I recently saw a pair of mandolins which were built together and kept in a custom oversized case (these mandolins were built in the 1930's) - they now belong to Ricky Scaggs.

That is too cool about the mandolins!! I would love to have sequential serial numbered Les Paul guitars too :D

István, nice MP you've got there!.. Still waiting to see your two little sevens ;)

Jeromie, that's a luck! Really! 20 years wanting... I wanted mine for 2 years, and I paid all money I had... Worth every penny, that's for sure...

Pirate, Les Pauls?.. Nice choice man! Once I wanted to learn how to play a guitar. I bought Epiphone G-400, but I couldn't make myself just sit and learn... I was shooting pictures all my free time... So I've decided to sell it. Part of it is my MP now. I bought harmonica, so that I could carry out with my "instrument", during my picture-hunting.

I had the G-400 also a long time ago, good guitar. I also carry a harmonica with me! A little music is good for the soul.

....or did you already have one, then by good fortune find the other? I just gotta know because that is soooo cool.

Got the consecutive numbers at once. At one time it was not so difficult to do, but I think (am not sure) that Leica intentionally distributes cameras so that no dealer gets consecutive numbers. But I wonder! Anyone else know?

It is interesting to note how many of these have the old marks on the top where a Leica Meter used to sit. My M3 and M4 have those marks also.
