I just picked up a Fuji 670ii at our local goodwill. I hadn't seen one of these in person before and I was surprised by the camera's size. It's not just that it's big but that it looks like a classic 35 rangefinder just comically larger. I tried some street shooting but being stealth is not really an option. One of the venders shouted "look everyone... a man with the biggest camera in the world". Ironically most people don't seem to mind having their picture taken with it, I guess for novelty's sake. The 10 frames per roll go pretty fast but other than that it's really great to shoot with.

It wasn't dirt cheap...$400. It was with a bunch of other gear... bag flash, etc. The price probably scared a few people away. The best part is the counter was at 4 and it is in mint condition.

I've been thinking of getting a boing-ing spring about 10 inches long with a plastic flower or bird on one end and mount the other end on the camera's hotshoe.

I saw the Tichy exhibit at the ICP this winter... nobody took him or his camera seriously either.

That reflex mirror may be 1/2lb by itself, then add 1 lb for the prism.

That's big... though the 67 looks less like a fake camera.

I had gas for one of the big Fujis for a while and still don't discount the prospect of owning a 690 some day!
It would give me complete coverage of the 120 format. (standard sizes at least)
These things make 35mm cameras look like the barely competent toys that they are!

I have pentax too and its size really keeps me away from it...it is scary although it gives amazing photos!
