Does this look legitimate? :)

After going through all these trouble, I wonder why he doesn't promote this is a special olive green edition for extra $$$.

Darren, you should patent that now. :D

It's probably a scam but if not then I'd say he has no idea what he's got - or it could even be stolen goods (whatever make it is!).
Check out the other items he has for sale, and check out his feedback. Only 6-7 items sold in 12 months, hardly any photographic gear - looks like a pawnshop or cash converter - and one rather negative bit of feedback. I wouldn't touch it even if the mock-up looked genuine.

The photo of the product itself is shopped (look at the color of "added" stuff) and I highly highly doubt he even has the Bessa.

If someone actually did the mod and made Bessa-M9, that would be even funnier though! :D

I attempted to report the item to EBay as fraudulent and the reporting format won't even accept the item number as genuine!
Took three attempts, but I've reported it now.

You have to be joking... this is hilarious!!! The seller is even a Sydney-sider!!! This could be fun... I wonder if you can arrange to inspect the camera. He also has a Hasselblad H3D-II listed as well.

Shall we play?

How stupid does he think we are ... everyone knows the M9 hasn't been released in olive green yet!

:p

Aww - you spoiled it. :)

Here's the pics for those who missed it.
