New York in September?

I'm staying in New York for one week in September. Looking for suggestions and tips. Any good photography related exhibitions, photo opportunities, cool things to see and do this time of year? Nice places to eat, drink and maybe smoke a good cigar? I'm staying in Jersey City, but will probably spend most of the time in Manhattan. Also planning a trip to Brooklyn.

For photo galleries, the School of the International Center for Photography is really worthwhile as is the Leica Gallery.

As for places to visit, you can find get photo ops almost anywhere. My favorites are Chinatown, Central Park, Times Square (at about 2:00 AM).
