As mentioned above, the handling is improved with the slightly larger grip. Operationally, I find this faster than the lx3 in both power on & AF acquisition. Haven't had the chance to shoot RAW, but jpeg @ iso 800 (imo) is cleaner with slightly more detail than the lx3.
Attaching the EVF still maintains a flat, light and compact profile - nice for those man-purses that have to share space with diapers, wipes, spare sleeper and meds for a 2yr old.
As for $ - yes, I think it's expensive especially now that the NEX & u43 cameras are out. We'll see if this thing is a keeper...
