Just wait until that X100 actually hits the street, it will be underwhelming I'm sure.
In the absence of data, I'm not sure about anything. YMMV.

Why all the emotion?
Some of the VF functionality in the M9Ti might be cool as it filters down to Leica's more 'affordable' models...we will see.
Standard internet forum fare really. I try not to get annoyed by the senseless bashing of everything, and the self righteous 'brand x should not do y because it will loose their True Fans', but it's a pattern that reoccurs ad invinitum everywhere and it it's unsettling when it happens. Not just here, not just for Leica, but every single forum, for every single brand. There is even no sense in trying to have a debate about why it suddenly rears its head, it is like rain: suddenly it's there, and then it's better to stay in and wait till it passes.
Made me think of this $30,000 Leica:

"The cameras, wrapped in red calfskin, say "Long Live the People's Republic of China" in red calligraphy and sport a Tiananmen Square pattern."
Who cares where the money comes from, as long at it pays the bills! 🙂
Leica hasn't made a good camera since at least the M5. I'm not sure why people are just now getting angry?!
If you don't like it you can avoid it like everyone did with the M5 and they'll figure it out.
The M9ti uses a light emitting diode to illuminate the framelines. After 53 years, they have surpassed Nikon's rangefinder technology which used a small lamp to illuminate the framelines.
Seriously, folks. Click the link above if you haven't.
Who needs to bash Leica when they do something like this to themselves? I give up.
If you shine a flash light onto the frosted window, the framelines in view light up.
Flat LED in red, green, blue, white, yellow... are available on eBay for ~35 cents each. Most sellers offer them by the '100's
Just find a mounting spot inside and wire it up. The 3.3v power requirement even complies with most digital camera batteries.
