impressive...Hitlers photo is interesting. I wonder how come it got into the album?? Was owner a soldier at that time or what?

The boys are wearing german uniforms at the end of the album. The picture of Hitler is from a parade in aug 1935, I belive in Munster-Lager (Munster?) The last dated picture in the album is from August of 1938 but there are undated pictures that I'm guessing were taken the next spring.
I have no way of knowing, the photographs are unattributed.

1935 was probably really good times for the german people. Look at all the crap they went through from the time this teenager named Herbst was born. What is the old story? A wheel barrow full of marks would buy a loaf of bread and butter and coffee were nonexistent? I heard recently where Germany finally paid off the last of it's WW1..I said one...reparations.
They were perfecting rockets, volkswagons, sewing machines, microscopes, and Leica and Zeiss plus all kinds of stuff like E=mc squared...don't forget the assault rifle, jet plane, and missile.
The pictures capture the mood of these german folks perfectly...they had a life again...a reason to be proud...(Anne Frank felt the same frigging way!) even the dark one shows some kind of mystical pride (evil in hindsight)...yes what a talented photographer and in the land of Leica and Zeiss I am sure there were many in '35...
And oh the pretty girls...imagine what they went through!
What was he shooting with and what kind of film???

The man in the photo standing next to the auto has an Army Infantry Officer's uniform on & not a Waffen SS uniform that the man in the link has, so I would not think they are the same person.
