They come up on eBay from time to time, and I've seen them in a couple of camera shops here in Japan. Unfortunately they are illegal to carry here, despite being as small as they are.

Yup, in all-black, with black "Leica" logo ;-) - have had one for 30 years (and, yes, I used carry it around all the time, before the current madness in the name of security)...

What? It's illegal to carry a pocket knife in Japan? Well, we're not that far away from it in the United States either. Thanks to the gun lobby, we'll be able to keep our guns a while longer. But cameras and pocket knives will certainly be banned soon by the Homeland Security Forces, because they were not explicitly mentioned when the constitution was written in 1775. Cheers, JP
