Terminology in the classified

If the buyer is picking up the tab to ship to Canuckistan. There's no loss to the seller except the time.
What's the big deal?
Oh, too many other important things to do?

In my experience, people never believe true shipping costs for international shipping. Also, since we generally get paid via paypal, the buyer is always right in a dispute and Paypal refunds the cash. I've been told by Paypal directly not to ship via USPS internationally because their tracking info is not sufficient.

Perhaps someone has had an international dispute and can correct me if USPS's info was sufficient?

Oh, I forgot about this one that doesn't stop amusing me (although it's not a language thing):

You have to wear white gloves to handle a lens you want to sell..:D

"Net to me" I kindly ignore seller trying to have the buyer pay the Paypal fees additionally to the asking price.

I pride myself as a careful buyer.

my currently no.1 red flag filter is to watch out for people who consistently sell cameras but then put caveats like "Don't know much about cameras."

What I wonder is why folks from the US are so reluctant to ship out of country. I've had people throw a fit over shipping across the border to me in Canuckistan.
Customs paperwork only takes 2 min at Canada Post...

"Canuckistan", te he. :D :D :D

Excuse me for having been away from my home and native land for a long time, but I find this term very funny!

(As I sit on the couch in Luxembourg watching a Maple Leafs game on ESPN America channel, I might add. As usual they are losing, at least some things never change.)

Cheers,
Rob

"For $25 more I will include an instruction manual and case."

So what will you do with them after the camera is sold?
